Trump takes new action against illegal immigrants!

Trump has once again stirred up a storm over illegal immigration. This time, his target isn’t his own borders, but the small Balkan nation of Kosovo, far away in Europe. The Kosovo “government” officially announced its agreement to accept a group of “third-country immigrants.” In other words, these individuals are neither Americans nor Kosovars, but rather illegal immigrants who are unwilling or unable to be accepted into their countries of origin. This is another Trump tactic, and perhaps the most controversial in US immigration history. Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, confirmed that the country will temporarily accept 50 illegal immigrants deported from the US. While the number may not sound small, the symbolic significance is significant for these individuals. These individuals are not necessarily criminals, but their countries of origin refuse to accept them, and the US does not want to keep them, so it has sought a third country willing to cooperate. Kosovo is the first European country to publicly accept this task, which will take place in 2025. The US State Department subsequently stated that this is “another achievement” in the Trump administration’s global third-country deportation strategy. Trump reportedly wants to paint the US-Mexico border wall black, using the black surface to absorb heat at high temperatures, making it harder for illegal immigrants to climb. He also plans to upgrade the wall with additional technology, cameras, and sensors to discourage illegal immigration. Trump has repeatedly introduced new measures to stem border crossings, but many of these policies are controversial and face legal, diplomatic, and social obstacles in their implementation. Whether it’s subsidized deportation, foreign acceptance, or the black wall strategy, they all reflect his hardline stance on immigration, but whether they will ultimately effectively address the problem of illegal immigration remains to be seen.
